Professor Abdullah Al-Tayeb
Professor Abdullah Al-Tayeb Al-Majzoub, a Sudanese linguist and poet, graduated from London and was the third Sudanese to receive a doctorate in Sudan. He wrote on literature and language, had a program on Quranic exegesis, and managed several Arab cultural institutions. He was also a visiting professor at a number of Arab, African, and British universities.
